Surprising David…

David and I are going to the House of Blues in Orlando to see a Collective Soul concert tonight (www.collectivesoul.com). It is actually a ‘holiday soiree’ that is being hosted by a local radio station (www.mix1051.com). I’ve never seen a concert in the House of Blues which I think will be blast. Actually we’re both pretty excited about going because we have not ever been to an actual music concert together in all this time that we’ve known each other (together almost 4 years now). I know…it’s hard to believe right? Hard for me to believe that we have not been to a concert and we both love music. It is even harder for me to believe I am married. A few years ago if you had told me that I’ll be married and about to celebrate anniversay no. two, I would have said that you were crazy. Anyhoo…a few weeks back I surprised him with the tickets, weekend in Orlando because he likes the band and we both could use a date night away from home. We’re going to do some Christmas shopping, check out the downtown Disney area and whatever else strikes us at the moment. We going to put up our Christmas tree and decorate the house when we get back home on Sunday. I told David to look at the concert as a nice way to start off the Christmas season and we still have plenty more holiday traditions to enjoy yet.
